In 2012 there were over 47,000 driving instructors in the UK. At present we have only 39,000 with many of those instructors either working part time or have moved on to teach other licence categories. With this fall in instructor numbers coupled with the increase in demand for driving lessons from the millennium generation, there has never been a better time to join the industry. Business is booming and showing no signs of slowing down.
